ABOUT THE ROLE
The Test Engineer II will support the Honeywell Services and Connectivity portfolio by providing the highest level of product support to the customer. You will utilize a wide toolset to proactively monitor and troubleshoot various aircraft communication systems. You will work closely with each customer to understand their needs and business missions to best optimize each system onboard to deliver peak performance. You will blend skills such as IP networking, troubleshooting, and aircraft systems to accomplish this optimization. This position will assist the sales team with customer consultations, technical specification identification of aircraft systems, activation of services, customer onboarding and training and continued support over the life of the customer.
You will report directly to our Senior Technical Support Manager, and you will work out of our Sky Harbor, AZ location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

- Travel: up to 35%
- On call Weekend rotation every 8-10 weeks
- Training: 6a-2p M-F
- Shift After Training: 12p-8p M-F

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 4+ years of SatComm & IP Networking experience
- 2+ years aviation industry experience
- 2+ years of direct customer support experience
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or System Engineering (Hardware)
- Experience using Network monitoring tools
- Experience working with Jira, SalesForce.Com, or other CRM software tools
NET+ or SEC+ certification - Pilot experience (private or commercial)
- Proactively take initiative to accomplish tasks, completing them before being prompted by others or compelled by circumstances
- Ability to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations
- Effectively use data to make intelligent decisions
- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of complex tasks
