We're seeking a Generator & Motor Design Engineer with expertise in electrical generator and motor machinery development. The ideal candidate is fully conversant with electric motor and generator technologies.

Requirements

• U.S. citizens only
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years professional experience
• Industry experience with electrical motors, generators and magnetic machinery is essential
• Working knowledge of finite element analysis applications for structural, thermal and electromagnetic systems is helpful
• Comfortable splitting time between electrical engineering and mechanical engineering and pursuing solutions that combine both disciplines appropriately
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, interpret technical design data and develop creative solutions to complex problems
• Ability to interact with a variety outside suppliers and service providers is important
• Be able to provide constructive input and feedback to other engineering project team members
