We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Civil Structure Engineer. This is a long-term contract role. Please see details below.

Title: Civil Structure Engineer
Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice)
Location: Qatar Site
Working Schedule: 5 days per week / 8-10 hours per day

--Experience Required-
Key Job Accountabilities
• Prepare Conceptual Study, Design Basis, and civil/structural/infrastructure design as per client Specifications and International Codes such as BS, API, DNV, AISC, AWS, OCIMF, PIANC, ISGOTT, ASCE, ACI, AISC, AASHTO, USACE, UBC and Qatar National Construction Standards.
• Provide technical expertise support to all company Assets (Operations) identifying the timely solution of structural engineering to ensure Asset Integrity and Reliability sustaining Safe and Continuous Plant Environment.
• Provide civil/structural engineering technical support to maintenance and throughout Project Life Cycle (Pre-FEED/FEED/Detail Design stages) ensuring Quality and Flawless execution.
• Perform Economic/Financial Evaluation of all Feasibility Studies and Opportunities.
• Develop Concept Packages and civil/structural engineering detailed drawings as per Company Project Management Systems (QGPMS).
• Perform all the necessary complex/high level analysis and/or review as per the applicable specification or codes along with computer analysis software e.g. STAAD for onshore, and SACS (or equivalent) for offshore, and ANSYS for Finite Element.
• Provide civil/structural SME technical support in all sessions of RCFA, RHAZOP, RA, Lifting, Excavation Certificate, Inspection Program, etc.
• Liaise with consultants or shareholders, represent client to external agencies and conduct technical presentations.

--Minimum Requirements--
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering.

Knowledge and Key Skills
• At least 4-10 years' engineering experience in an oil and gas environment.
