Role - Project HSE Manager (Construction)
Location - Haaksbergen, Netherlands
Contract - 12-month renewable - Mon/Fri site based
Start - ASAP
Dutch and English fluent - Written and Spoken is a MUST

We are currently seeking an experienced, Dutch speaking Construction HSE Manager to support a major industrial project located in Haaksbergen, Netherlands. This is a long-term agency contract with a globally recognized EPC Contractor in the energy, chemicals, and resources sector.
You'll join a collaborative and safety-focused HSE team, playing a key leadership role in ensuring HSE excellence during construction activities on site.
The project involves the development of new salt extraction facilities in Haaksbergen, as part of efforts to secure long-term salt production in the Twente region.
Please find below some more information on what the experience and qualifications the candidate requires -

Essential:

• Certified HVK (Higher Safety Expert Certification) and valid First Aid certification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing HSE on complex construction projects.

Preferred:

• Proactive and pragmatic approach to safety, focusing on collaboration and risk reduction.
• Previous experience in EPCM or operational industrial project environments.
• Understanding of engineering workflows and construction methodologies.
• Comfortable navigating multiple priorities in a dynamic project setting.
• Skilled in using project and HSE management software tools.
• Strong background working with and leading contractors in a construction environment.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Confident communicator with strong coaching and leadership capabilities
