Job Summary
A Quality Inspector provides technical expertise to support the Quality program. This includes specialized inspection, testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, and quality tools for problem-solving and assessment.
The inspector applies knowledge of quality systems and tools to ensure that required standards are met during project execution. They create inspection reports that detail the conditions of the work scope, verifying that requirements conform to specifications.
Under supervision, the Quality Inspector develops the skills and knowledge necessary to assess the degree of conformity of products in relation to specifications.

Job Summary
A Quality Inspector provides technical expertise to support the Quality program. This includes specialized inspection, testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, and quality tools for problem-solving and assessment.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform physical inspections of new and refurbished parts.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all inspections.
- Generate final inspection reports on conformance concerns.
- Lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Support Quality Engineer during investigations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Quality Manager/Supervisor.
- Provide specialized technical expertise in quality inspection, testing, and training.
- Utilize statistical methods, audits, and quality tools for problem-solving and assessment.
- Apply quality systems and tools to validate contractually required standards.
- Implement performance evaluation and prediction methods to improve product safety, reliability, and maintainability.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid driver's license.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in quality inspection and a high school diploma; or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A Quality certification (e.g., Quality Management Systems (QMS), Quality Inspection, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with or certification in Quality Management Systems (such as ISO, etc.)
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred, or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire
- Experience with digital measuring systems such as CMM, Keyence IM, or XM is required
