Honeywell Connected Enterprises (HCE) is expanding and seeks an Advanced Project Engineer for the HCE Program Management Office (PMO). As an Advanced Project Engineer you will play a critical role in the delivery execution and management of leading edge software products that drive outcomes for Honeywell Automation's customer base. Your expertise in technical project management and problem-solving will be instrumental in shaping the future of our technology and industry solutions. You will report directly to our Director of PMO in Atlanta, GA on a hybrid work schedule.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of technical program management experience with next-generation software product development programs. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build influential partnerships are essential.

As an Advanced Project Engineer you will play a critical role in the delivery execution and management of leading edge software products that drive outcomes for Honeywell Automation's customer base. Your expertise in technical project management and problem-solving will be instrumental in shaping the future of our technology and industry solutions. You will report directly to our Director of PMO in Atlanta, GA on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Advanced Project Engineer will work closely with Line of Business leaders and business units to ensure that large cross-organizational programs are planned appropriately and executed within the committed timeline and budget, collaborating with Global Business Enterprise leaders, partners, and cross-functional leaders.
- Drive the execution of the HCE Software Product Development Lifecycle on the Forge Platform by ensuring the entire product lifecycle process is followed, including business case development, proof of concept, development, testing, and full product launch.
- Work closely with stakeholders such as Product UX, Engineering, Customer Support, Product Security, and Customer Success to ensure high-quality customer experiences, resolve issues, and ensure successful product launches.
- Recommend and advocate for improvements to existing products in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software development, product security, product management, and operations to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Possess technical proficiency in software development and leadership skills to guide teams in delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and operations teams on go-to-market strategy, successful development/testing, and smooth deployment of new products.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- PMP Certification Required
- 5+ years of experience in Software Product Development project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong leadership and communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Capability to lead change; build high-performing global teams within a matrix environment and model high-performance standards
- Broad multifunctional expertise encompassing technology, marketing, sales, and innovation
- Execution skills characterized by persistent drive for results, utilizing effective program management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Results-oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong and decisive, capable of making decisions amidst ambiguity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
