The Chief Engineer is responsible to the Vessel Master for the management of the Technical Department which includes responsibility for the technical status of the ship, its machinery and propulsion systems, all technical equipment permanently installed on board and all marine technical equipment temporarily installed on board.
We are seeking candidates who want to understand the environment in which we operate in and support effective delivery of our offshore projects, building effective and trusting two-way relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a desire to develop yourself, build individual effectiveness and the capability to change and deliver.
Applicants will need relevant academic qualifications or evidence of having completed an appropriate apprenticeship or similar compliant with the STCW Code A-III/2. They should also hold at all times a valid Seafarer Medical Fitness or equivalent as well as an Offshore Survival certificate suitable for geographical area of work.
