Context & Environment

Internal :

• Internal interaction - with blending, bulk & Pack filling teams & with logistics personnel of TEMME on a daily basis.

External :

• External interaction- Contract manpower Supplier, transport crew & Surveyors.

Activities

• Plan and Control all day-to-day operations for the Blending & bulk filling activity, Permit to Work system, records update, shifts and resource planning.
• Organize and direct the blending teams & bulk filling team to achieve safe and effective performance, product availability with reliable quality while minimizing operating costs and ensuring that all activities are consistent with the company's HSSEQQ policies and applicable legislation.
• Efficient Blend Plan preparation on daily basis to ensure on-time availability of product.
• Coordination of bulk receipts of raw materials and control the same.
• Monitor work area for optimization of processes & recommend improvements.
• Be responsible for agreed productivities and quality indicators as per the HSSEQ / Energy Management guidelines.
• Be supportive to Pack filling operations and communicate any non-availability of product for the next fillings as committed by the production plan.
• Production order & loss management entries in ERP System -SAP.
• Play a role of Production Engineer ( Pack filling) in his/her absence.
• Investigation and analysis on blending batch & filling failure and maintaining CAPA.
• To handle ship discharge operation as per the procedure and HSSEQ guidelines.
• Responsible for Loss control management - stock control, inventory control & mass balance.
• Support to Production Manager in Follows-up plan for corrective actions agreed with responsible parties to ensure the implementation of the audit recommendations.
• Support to Production Manager of reaching the % loss/gain targets of blending & Filling , by having day to day controls and timely reconciliation of raw material to achieve the overall target of mass balance.
• Be reactive to any changes coming up due to changing business needs, customer requirements, and material related issues.
• Responsible for the plant operations completely during night shift (He/She is the independent responsible as PM is away).
• Hold regular, structured team and shift handover meeting.
• Authority to stop production or dispatch, in case if any non-conformity is identified, including reviewing & disposition, as appropriate.
• Follow HSSEQ & Energy Management procedures, train people, ensure compliance and recommend changes/ improvements.
• Active participation in emergency response plan & emergency preparedness.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

HSSEQ Objectives & Assignments :

• To understand and adherence to the current regulatory requirements applicable to the areas of responsibilities.
• To comply with TMME Safe Work Permit program (as per the PTW roles and responsibility assignment: process owner/ permit applicant/ issuing authority and approval authority).
• Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by Quality, HSSEQ & Energy Policies and Manuals.
• Strict adherence and compliance towards Group HSSEQ Charter & MAESTRO requirement and affiliate's HSSEQQ Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all time.
• To contribute, meet and improve upon the KPI & EnPI targets as set towards overall HSSEQ and Energy objectives.
• Selection and availability of applicable PPE's at all time and ensuring the strict use of PPE's in work area of responsibility.
• Participate in the training program to acquire HSSEQ knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by Management.
• Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
• Participate in the safety risk assessment, health risk assessment, planed general inspections, loss control tours and other kind of audits as per the TELBU HSSEQ requirements.
• Ensure adherence to compliance processes and guidelines specific to position's roles and responsibilities.
• Control of quality and safety in operations ,as he is the first in line and exposure to HSSEQ can be high due to unsafe acts on quality / safety concerned.
• Demonstrates exemplary conduct, rigor, vigilance and professionalism regarding HSSEQ in all their activities.
• Strict adherence to HSSEQ requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.

Compliance

• Ensure full adherence to the company's compliance program, its policies and procedures including economic sanctions and export control in all professional activities.
• Promptly notify the compliance officer/economic sanctions referent of any instances of noncompliance or violations of economic sanctions or export control that comes to my attention.

Job Related Objectives & Assignments :

• Operation of MES system -Lubcel for blending and filling.
• Bulk product loading as per day plan issued by Logistics Executive-TEMUAE.
• In conjunction with logistics executive Bulk additive call off plan to be done on daily basis.
• To execute the production process as per plans issued by the Planner following the HSSEQ guidelines to deliver the product at the right time, with the right quality & quantity.
• Sustain & improve productivity and service levels.
• In conjunction with project team participate in commissioning of new Equipment.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and cleanliness in work area.
• Manage & motivate internal and external manpower for optimum results and sustainable growth.
• Work with Stock team for timely updates of Bulk receipts in SAP.
• Maintain and improve Inventory control and overall mass balance as per tolerance limit.
• Monthly stock count of dedicated tank PGEN, base oil & bulk additive as per standard procedure.
• Planning of special/spot and periodic inventories counts of Raw materials, with explanations on variance, to production manager and take remedial actions to minimize variation and control inventory within tolerance limit.
• Maintain and improve 5S & Visual management in work area and participate in KIZEN implementation program.
• Improvements to the system / processes as agreed by the annual appraisal system - objectives
• Promote digitalization & improvement projects in Work area.

Candidate Profile

Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of lubricants blending process and understanding of safety issues in a Blending operation.
• Working knowledge of HSSEQQ management systems, Energy management systems, Lean management (5S & KIAZEN)
• Basic knowledge of ERP system - SAP.

Skills:

• Perform as a Team Player
• Team managements & sound interpersonal Skills.
• Above average English language proficiency
• Organized and results oriented

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in similar position in automated blending plant, handling lubricants in a reasonably complex multinational environment.
• Must be computer literate - MS Office
• Hands on experience in Safety, ISO 9001 (Quality) , ISO 14001 (Environmental) Management systems & ISO 50001 (Energy Management System)

Education:

• Bachelor of Engineering in any discipline.
