Main Functions:
- Support the HSE Lead with the implementation and continuous improvement of company HSE programs and initiatives.
- Monitor project HSE performance, advising on noncompliance issues and supporting corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with company, contractor, and local authority safety regulations and requirements.
- Coach and guide Contractors and Subcontractors on effectively establishing and delivering safety expectations.
- Drive conformance with HSE policies, procedures, and project safety plans through proactive monitoring and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and assessments across construction and installation worksites.
- Develop and maintain daily HSE reports for active worksite locations.
- Participate in and/or lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting.
- Perform trend analysis of incidents, near misses, hazards, and observations to recommend preventative measures.
- Promote a strong safety culture through awareness, coaching, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Support and participate in HAZID/HAZOP workshops and risk assessments.
- Facilitate and audit compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001/55001 standards.
- Review and support documentation such as RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
- Monitor and analyze incident data via Synergi (or equivalent) for continual improvement.
- Provide ad-hoc HSE support and emergency response readiness when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- College-level education or equivalent certifications in Health, Safety, or Environmental fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within offshore construction, installation, or onshore turbine assembly.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office); experience with Synergi or similar tools is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work with 3rd party contractors on QHSE matters.
Certifications Required (or willingness to obtain):
- GWO BST with Offshore Sea Survival
- OSHA 10hr (or greater) certification
- OGUK Medical (or equivalent physical)
