Airswift is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Advisor to join our client, a global leader in the renewable energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project focused on sustainable offshore and onshore wind energy development.

Main Functions:


  • Support the HSE Lead with the implementation and continuous improvement of company HSE programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor project HSE performance, advising on noncompliance issues and supporting corrective actions.
  • Ensure full compliance with company, contractor, and local authority safety regulations and requirements.
  • Coach and guide Contractors and Subcontractors on effectively establishing and delivering safety expectations.
  • Drive conformance with HSE policies, procedures, and project safety plans through proactive monitoring and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and assessments across construction and installation worksites.
  • Develop and maintain daily HSE reports for active worksite locations.
  • Participate in and/or lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting.
  • Perform trend analysis of incidents, near misses, hazards, and observations to recommend preventative measures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through awareness, coaching, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
  • Support and participate in HAZID/HAZOP workshops and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate and audit compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001/55001 standards.
  • Review and support documentation such as RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
  • Monitor and analyze incident data via Synergi (or equivalent) for continual improvement.
  • Provide ad-hoc HSE support and emergency response readiness when required.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • College-level education or equivalent certifications in Health, Safety, or Environmental fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within offshore construction, installation, or onshore turbine assembly.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office); experience with Synergi or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with 3rd party contractors on QHSE matters.

Certifications Required (or willingness to obtain):
  • GWO BST with Offshore Sea Survival
  • OSHA 10hr (or greater) certification
  • OGUK Medical (or equivalent physical)
