As a Field Service Engineer II-Access Control here at Honeywell, you will provide onsite and remote software deployment, upgrade support, system migrations, advanced programming, troubleshooting, and project planning as requested by our customers.
The Professional Engineering Services Team is a group of skilled system engineers that assist in the deployment, upgrade, and migration of access control systems critical to the security operations of customers including Fortune 100 firms, financial institutions, universities, and government facilities.

You will report directly to our Tech Supp Supervisor.
** Thie role will support secure access solution clients worldwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The annual base salary range for this position is $68,200.00- $85,200.00 ($32.78/hr-$ 40.96/hr). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Value Added Reseller (VAR) Channel
- Provide manufacturer technical product guidance in the following areas:
- System design and pre-planning
- Software installation and upgrades
- Implementation of fault tolerant and disaster recovery solutions
- Complex installations and configuration
- Provide project planning, testing and deployment services
- Due to the nature of this discipline, maybe required to work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holidays, on occasion
- Travel: up to 50%. Note: This position requires availability for travel with typical individual trips lasting between 3-5 days. International travel is possible.

YOU MUST HAVE
- 2+ years of customer facing experience in a technology industry
- 2+ years of experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle databases
- 2+ years of Server administration experience
- Entry-level knowledge of SQL database engines
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or a related field Advanced Engineering degree in a relevant field
- Experience working with Microsoft operating systems (Windows OS)
- Experience testing and supporting software installations
- Experience in Access Control, Video, CCTV, Intrusion, or related technologies/systems
- Exceptional follow-through, customer service orientation and ability to develop strong, long-term customer relationships
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to communicate/collaborate well with customers, peers, management, and other departments
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask and work independently
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and demonstrate excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
