Job Description

As a SCADA Engineer, you will play a key role in the analytics team, working to optimize wind farm performance. You will contribute to the advancement of AI-driven engineering within the asset advisory service line, collaborating across teams to develop and implement a range of technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

This is a hybrid role based in Lyon, France.

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies on the producibility review of operational wind farms.
  • Operational energy yield assessment (OEYA)
  • Operational Energy Production Report (OEPR)
• Performs performance analysis (PA) by investigating all SCADA data and logs (error codes) to identify causes of underperformance
• Code scripts in Python
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of our internal products

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma in mechanics, or electromechanics or generalist
• Minimum 3 years experience in onshore wind farm operation and asset management
• Thorough understanding of the typical drivetrain failure modes, root cause failure analysis
• Experience with data analysis tools and scripting (Python)
• Fluent in English
