Nacelle Cooling and Conditioning is a Sub-module of Nacelle Module. This sub-module is responsible for ensuring activities happening in Air cooling and Liquid cooling system.
Responsibilities
- Your tasks will vary in complexity and nature
- Drive the Cost Out Ideas from Idea Stage to Implementation
- Solve the Technical Risks and Align with Value chain stakeholders
- Participate and push ideas from modules in Quarterly and monthly reviews
- Technical responsible for idea and value creation
- Review and agree on BC elements per idea
- Setup & align tech. Expectations with each idea owners within modules
- Review & bring all target ideas to a certain maturity level to meet overall targets.
- Represent in Peer Reviews for Sub module
Qualifications
- Master's / Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering / Aerospace/ similar fields
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in design & development of dynamic mechanical systems, CAD (CREO) & PDM (PDM Link) Engineering Change Management (ECM)
- Knowledge in ISO standards related to mechanical component design Systems engineering experience
Competencies
- Quickly pick up on the array of software tools and processes we use in our workflow
- Can develop innovative solutions to the challenges we face when performing these analyses
- Including development or introduction of new tools and processes into our workflow
- Have a solid understanding of mechanical systems
- Model new and change existing CAD models
- Efficiently communicate with the Engineers
- Succeed as part of a team and that it comes naturally for you to collaborate and share knowledge
- Have the patience to listen to, understand and empathize with your colleagues
- Are committed to pushing the state-of-the art in Wind Turbine CAD technology
- Like to work with complex engineering problems and have a creative approach to new challenges
- Experience with Creo and PDM Link and Jira
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum)
- Project Management and/or business education/experience
