An HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring workplace safety, environmental conservation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inspections and Audits:
o Conduct daily inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify hazards.
o Perform audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
2. Risk Assessment:
o Evaluate workplace risks and collaborate with teams to implement mitigation strategies.
o Provide actionable recommendations to improve safety measures.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain detailed records of inspections, assessments, and incidents.
o Prepare comprehensive reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
4. Training and Education:
o Educate employees about health and safety standards.
o Encourage training on safety procedures and regulations.
5. Incident Investigation:
o Investigate workplace accidents to determine causes.
o Recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Qualifications
• A degree or certification in occupational health, safety, or environmental management.
• Familiarity with industry-specific safety standards (e.g., Oil&Gas or hazardous materials).
• Strong technical knowledge of safety equipment and risk management practices.
Key Skills
• Attention to detail for identifying potential hazards.
• Effective communication for training employees and reporting findings.
• Problem-solving skills to develop practical solutions for safety issues.
