We are currently seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join our team based in Madrid.

About the opportunity we offer:

In our Madrid office, we are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to perform the following tasks:

  • Advise the Project and/or Proposal Management.
  • Develop schedule according to the selected execution strategy.
  • Delimit and optimize the necessary resources.
  • Define for management, proposal manager and estimating department a realistic and feasible contract duration for execution.
  • Implement the Planning and Scheduling system (methods, procedures, schedules, physical progress, scorecards, etc.).
  • Precise project breakdown structures.
  • Plan to secure work fronts on site, mitigating risks and reducing costs.
  • Obtain client approval of claimed progress or milestone achievement to enable invoicing.
  • Monitor project status, detect any delays and propose corrective actions where necessary.
  • Operationally manage the project planning team (2-4 people).
  • Estimate delay related to changes and claims and prepare Time Extension analysis, in case of delay due to customer.
  • Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve planning and scheduling methods and provide input to the planning department statistics.


About you:

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:
  • You have an Engineering degree.
  • You have +6 years of experience in Planning in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • You have at least B2 of English and Spanish. A good level of French will be valued.
  • You have knowledge and experience with Primavera P6, Excel and PowerBI.
