In this role as the Analytics Engineer, you will build business intelligence solutions across multiple projects. You will perform hands-on development specializing in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) activities, integrating Data Lake technologies into the existing data source ecosystem. Additionally, you will use reporting tools such as Spotfire and OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) within our Logical Data Warehouse (LDW) environment.

Job Description
In this role you will:
- T ranslate user requirements and architecture patters into defined BI deliverables
- Assist in integrating development deliverables into project plans.
- Deliver as per project plans and schedules to create reporting solutions.
- Create Spotfire / Analytical reporting tools from SQL database and other data sets.
- Maintain existing Spotfire /analytical reports.
- W ork closely with Leadership and Engineers to develop tools that will drive shop metrics.
- Assist DT team in stable operations, cable/networking, site DT equipment installation and help/support tickets.
- Coordinate with deployment and support teams to ensure the solutions get implemented into QA and production environments.
- Be r esponsible for multiple programming languages, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and interfacing
- Maintain peer relationships across IT areas (infrastructure, operations, COEs, etc.) to support effective implementations
- Apply standard development practices/procedures and a detailed applications knowledge in area of responsibility to create technical designs driving towards simple, sustainable, and reusable solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 1 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 6 years of professional experience
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
Eligibility Requirement:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
Desired Characteristics:
- Green Belt certified
- Lean six sigma experience
- PMP / ITIL certified
