The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the project's technically accurate execution. This person will provide technical leadership on a project team basis in the implementation, installation, modifications, testing, and validation of control systems and associated instrumentation.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Working with the Project Manager (and/or Project Engineer) to establish the actions required for the timely and successful completion of the assigned project within the engineering budget
• Responsible for ensuring the user documentation is accurate for the software and associated instrumentation
• Coordinate a project team on the technical side in close collaboration with the lead engineer and/or the project manager.
• Be able to resolve accurate project execution approaches and define the configuration strategy to meet the customer requirements.
• Work together with the Engineering Team Leader / Engineering Manager to match the complexity of a technical task with the experience of the engineer to whom this is assigned.
• Be flexible to travel to customer sites or other European offices for project meetings, FATs and startup according to project requirements.
• Follow the accurate working methods, procedures and tools, and identify areas of improvement where needed.
• Assist the sales organization in demonstrations, presentations, engineering estimates and solutions

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Proficient in Romanian & English with a third European language preferred (written and spoken)
• Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering-related field
• Proven experience in the automation industry with broad technical knowledge for different industry segments (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Refining, Pharma etc.), minimum 3 years.
• Confirmed experience in DCS and/or PLC projects execution, including commissioning and project startup on site, minimum 3 years
• Experience in working in project teams (especially geographically distributed teams)
• Experience in technically coordinating a project team.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Willingness to travel with a European focus mainly for shorter periods (up to 50%) as required.
• A third European language.
