Overview

Urbacon Concessions Investments is looking for a skilled Concession Senior Project Engineer to oversee the engineering, planning, and execution of concession-based infrastructure projects. This role ensures that technical and operational requirements are met while maintaining compliance with concession agreements, regulatory standards, and long-term asset management goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure alignment with concession agreements and regulatory requirements
• Develop technical specifications, engineering designs, and project documentation for concession-based infrastructure
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and operational regulations
• Monitor contractor and supplier performance, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and performance criteria
• Conduct technical feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost evaluations to support decision-making
• Manage project schedules, track progress, and report on the achievement of concession milestones
• Collaborate with EPC, O&M, and financial teams to integrate long-term asset management strategies
• Identify and mitigate engineering risks associated with long-term concession operations and performance guarantees
• Ensure smooth transitions from construction to operations, minimizing delays and cost overruns
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers

   

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience, with 3 years in a relevant role
• 2 years of GCC experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of concession-based project execution, regulatory frameworks, and infrastructure management
• Proficiency in engineering design, project scheduling, and cost control for power plant, oil & gas, and energy projects
• Experience with EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and concession-specific performance obligations
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
• ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) required
