EVP NCE > Customer Project Execution, NCE > Operational HSE

Construction HSE Management oversees the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental operations at Northern Central Europe onshore and offshore sites. Our dedicated team includes HSE managers, HSE Team Leads, and HSE professionals from both Vestas employees and external sub-contractors.
We manage project-specific HSE tasks during the planning, preparation, and execution phases, such as liaising with internal and external stakeholders, advising and influencing the project team on HSE topics, daily HSE reporting on incidents and observations, communicating with the client and project team on HSE matters, promoting day-to-day HSE awareness and communication on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop direct reports and the overall team
• Deliver daily operational resources to meet forecast and planning requirements
• Recruit and lead HSE professionals
• Support additional stakeholders, including site management and project teams
• Foster team building, motivation, satisfaction, and development
• Implement Vestas culture and strategies, driving the Installation & Commissioning agenda
• Ensure compliance with the Vestas Health & Safety Management System and gather feedback for optimization

Qualifications

• Vocational training in technical or safety engineering or a relevant field with transferable skills
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Health, Safety, and Environment, preferably within the wind industry or civil engineering
• Previous distance management experience
• Proven leadership experience in a similar role
• Fluent in both German and English
• Proficiency in IT skills (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Full driver's license

Das Construction HSE Management ist verantwortlich für die Umsetzung und Überwachung von Gesundheits-, Sicherheits- und Umweltmaßnahmen an Onshore- und Offshore-Standorten in Nord- und Mitteleuropa. Unser engagiertes Team besteht aus HSE-Managern, HSE-Teamleitern und HSE-Fachkräften - sowohl von Vestas als auch von externen Subunternehmern.

Wir übernehmen projektspezifische HSE-Aufgaben in der Planungs-, Vorbereitungs- und Ausführungsphase, darunter:

• Die Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Stakeholdern,
• Beratung und Einflussnahme auf das Projektteam in HSE-Fragen,
• Tägliche HSE-Berichterstattung zu Vorfällen und Beobachtungen,
• Kommunikation mit dem Kunden und Projektteam zu HSE-Themen,
• Förderung des täglichen HSE-Bewusstseins und der Kommunikation vor Ort.

Deine Tätigkeiten

• Führung und Weiterentwicklung der direkten Mitarbeitenden und des gesamten Teams
• Bereitstellung täglicher operativer Ressourcen gemäß Prognose- und Planungsanforderungen
• Rekrutierung und Leitung von HSE-Fachkräften
• Unterstützung weiterer Stakeholder, einschließlich Standortleitung und Projektteams
• Förderung von Teamgeist, Motivation, Zufriedenheit und Entwicklung
• Umsetzung der Vestas-Kultur und -Strategien mit Fokus auf Installation & Inbetriebnahme
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung des Vestas-Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsmanagementsystems sowie Einholung von Feedback zur Optimierung

Deine Qualifikationen

• Berufsausbildung im technischen oder sicherheitstechnischen Bereich oder in einem verwandten Feld mit übertragbaren Fähigkeiten
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Gesundheit, Sicherheit und Umwelt, idealerweise in der Windindustrie oder im Bauwesen
• Erfahrung in der Führung über Distanz
• Nachgewiesene Führungserfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Rolle
• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• IT-Kenntnisse (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Führerschein Klasse B
