We are currently seeking a Package Equipment Engineer, reporting directly to the hiring manager to join our Mechanical team based in Houston, Texas, USA.

About the Job

Packaged equipment engineer for Olefins, LNG, Carbon Capture, and Blue Hydrogen/Ammonia projects located in both domestic and international markets. Assignment is in the Technip Energies Houston operating center.

Job Duties:
  • Develop the scope of work for PDP, FEED, and detailed engineering projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of material requisitions for packaged equipment.
  • Develop packaged equipment specifications and/or review client specifications.
  • Produce mechanical datasheets for packaged equipment.
  • Review and manage submitted vendor drawings and other documentation.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure all requirements are incorporated into the requisition package.
  • Provide engineering support by answering technical questions and requests.
  • Identify scope changes or deviations and notify project team.
  • Ensure conformance to applicable government regulations, engineering codes and standards as well as company QA system, policies, and procedures.


About You

  • BSME or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 15 plus years experience handling packaged equipment such as wastewater treatment systems, chemical injection packages, air drying systems, vendor process and/or utility packages, and the like.
  • Experience reviewing specifications, performing equipment selections, producing requisitions, performing technical bid evaluations, and reviewing vendor documents for packaged equipment.
  • Knowledge of ASME Code and applicable API standards as they pertain to packaged equipment.
  • Software knowledge should include Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional licensure in the U.S. is required.
