JOB DESCRIPTION
- Designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining equipment/system which is used to control manufacturing/machining equipment, make sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
- Testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems
- Maintain / Upgrade CNCs and its program, reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product.
- Inputting the product process design into computer software to generate command code to machines
- Writing computer software and test procedures
- Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications
perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process - Managing vendors to maintain vendor supply control systems.
- Working collaboratively with other facility engineers, operation engineers, purchaser and other internal staff
- Developing new business proposals.
- Training new staff/operators on machine operation procedure
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in electronic /electrical /Automatic Control and Systems engineering or equivalent
- Proficient in CNC Programing
- Extensive experience with CAD/CAM software solutions
- Experience/skill in Delta-Tau is added advantage
- Good knowledge Electrical or Electronic control hardware/system, PMAC, Siemens; Mitsubishi; GSK; Omron
- Knowledge and skills in specific control disciplines, such as: Programmable logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SACDA), Advance Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- An understanding of, and ability to work with, high-level computer technology.
- Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong teamworking skills, with an ability to lead/coach others.
