Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
As an HSE Dangerous Goods Analyst in the Americas region, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of dangerous goods within our organization. You will be responsible for regional dangerous goods transportation governance, developing safety procedures, providing education and advice to employees to minimize the potential hazards associated with dangerous goods, and assisting with risk assessments. Your expertise in regulatory compliance and best practices will contribute to maintaining a safe working environment and protecting the well-being of our employees and the environment.
You will report directly to our the HSE/Product Stewardship leader and you'll work out of our Morris Plains location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact our business by implementing effective safety measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, thereby minimizing the risk of incidents and maintaining a safe working environment.

- Provide dangerous goods transportation governance for the Americas region
- Collaborate with dangerous goods transportation colleagues to develop policies and practices across the entire organization.
- Provide training and education to employees on the safe transportation of dangerous goods.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with the transportation of dangerous goods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 3+ years of experience in dangerous goods transportation (49 CFR, IMDG Code, IATA DGR)
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Professional certifications in dangerous goods regulations. (49 CFR, IMDG Code, IATA DGR, TDG Canada, Mexican NOMs, ADR)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
