Electrical Database Administrator - Paris

On behalf of a major EPC, WRS are seeking a Smart Electrical Database Administrator (SPEL/SEL) to join an established Electrical Department within a major engineering project. This is a dynamic opportunity for a technically skilled and motivated professional to support database administration and tool development within an international project environment.

This will be a 12 month renewable contract role, based residentially in Paris, paying a day rate in Euros

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure, and implement the Smart Electrical (SEL) database.
• Manage access rights and user profiles.
• Provide user training and day-to-day support.
• Conduct testing and validate new software releases.
• Develop user procedures and methodologies.
• Create interfaces between SEL and other digital tools.
• Monitor system issues, report bugs, and propose corrective actions or improvements.
• Communicate effectively across electrical teams, IT, and potentially client stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of a BTEC Higher National Diploma (or equivalent BTS/DUT).
• Solid understanding of electrical principles (consumer lists, power balance, SLDs, cable sizing/routing).
• Experience with database management and electrical digital tools, particularly SEL (as user, super-user, or administrator).
• Right to work in France
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Working proficiency in English.
