Wood is recruiting for a Quality Lead to join our Operations APAC team in Manila Philippines, focusing on structural packages within brownfield oil and gas projects.

The projects team focusing on delivering across FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield, Greenfield scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost and the project schedule targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the management of all aspects of Quality across the breadth of their respective organization and the services we provide.
• Support the effective planning and allocation of resources (including people and budgets - 3rd party inspectors) enabling delivery of agreed objectives and deliverable
• Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data (e.g. inspection reports), regularly reporting themes and trends to senior leaders and undertaking intervention as required
• Gathering and acting upon customer feedback ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
• Review the suppliers SDRL ensuring that are aligned with the contractual requirements. Reviews / approves Suppliers' documentation
• Review / update Wood required documentation to ensure alignment with the contractual requirements
• Implementing the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across their organization ensuring that its application is effective and that compliance with the system is routinely monitored, assessed and improved as necessary. Facilitate external BMS certification as appropriate
• Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of Quality supporting systems across their organization (e.g., NCR, Progressive learning and Customer satisfaction systems)
• Supporting tenders and proposal activities for their organization
• Planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders
• Promote the awareness of quality principles, concepts, the review and challenge of working practices and methods to enhance performance
• Assist with the maintenance and deployment of the Wood Management System (BMS)
• Evaluating potential supplier's quality capabilities before contract award
• Attend Project Kick-Off Meetings as required to provide quality support and advice
• Review and approve material and equipment requisitions, validating quality control and certification requirements
• Review and Compile approval of contractor/vendor quality documentation (ITPs, relevant procedures, work packs)
• Provide input to Supplier Quality Documentation (including Quality Plans/ITPs, Certification Review)
• Support deployment/management of ATRAC System Records

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years relevant experience
• Strong documentation review skills relating to quality
• Factory acceptance test capability and willingness to travel
• Welding Non-Destructive Testing documentation review
  • Visual inspection
  • Liquid penetrant testing
  • Ultrasonic testing
  • Radiographic testing
  • Magnetic particle testing
• Knowledge in Coating Non-Destructive Testing documentation review (preferred).
• Preferred Certifications are the below,
  • QUALIFICATIONS ASNT Level III Ultrasonic Testing
  • ASNT Level III Magnetic Particle testing
  • ASNT Level II Radiographic Testing
  • ASNT Level II Ultrasonic Testing
  • ASNT Level II Magnetic Particle
  • ASNT Level II Penetrant Testing
  • AINDT Level II No 2201 Ultrasonic Testing
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1)
  • API 570 - Pressure Piping Certification Silverwing
  • NACE III Coating Inspector - Equivalent
