As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and improvement of manufacturing processes within the Value Stream ME team. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient production of both NPI (New Product Introduction) and Legacy products. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for both NPI & Legacy products
- Support the implementation of process changes, fixture improvements, tools selection, and machinery selection
- Help ensure that target metrics are achieved for the processes you support, including OTD (On-Time Delivery), FTY (First Time Yield), product cost, lead time, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce costs and cycle times
- Contribute new ideas and positive support to current process improvement efforts
- Assist in the creation of manufacturing instructions, ensuring that customer requirements are flowed down to the process and manufacturing best practices are properly documented
- Support Process Substantiation and FAI (First Article Inspection) activities
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Industrial Engineering
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and principles
- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and provide efficient solutions
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Interest in Lean Manufacturing principles
- Basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
