We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Gas Engineer to join our team, providing expert commercial gas, heating, combustion, and HVAC maintenance across a diverse portfolio of client sites within the designated region.
Job Description
In this key role, you will carry out a wide range of tasks, including fault finding, repairs, servicing, and installation of commercial and domestic gas systems, with a strong bias towards HVAC systems.
You will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standards and in full compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for commercial combustion, heating and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works
- Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance including fabric, plumbing and mechanical
- Provide callout response as per rota and undertake contractor control duties including issue of Permits to Work
- Undertake new installations and repair works on gas/heating systems and diagnose system faults
- Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas
- Ensure all equipment meets performance criteria and complies with H&S regulations
- Complete administration requirements and maintain accurate documentation
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Must hold valid Commercial and Domestic Gas qualifications including COCN1/CODNC1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Gas Safe Registered, with IPAF/PASMA and a full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in commercial gas, combustion, and heating systems including fault finding, maintenance and installation
- Strong background in PPM and reactive building services maintenance
- Experience working in FM or building services within commercial environments
- Knowledge and application of strict Health & Safety protocols including RAMS
