As an HSE Dangerous Goods Analyst in the Asia-Pacific (APAC)region at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safetransportation of dangerous goods within our organization. You will beresponsible for regional dangerous goods transportation governance, developingsafety procedures, providing education and advice to employees to minimize thepotential hazards associated with dangerous goods, and assisting with riskassessments. Your expertise in regulatory compliance and best practices willcontribute to maintaining a safe working environment and protecting thewell-being of our employees and the environment. You will report directly toour HSEManager [MH1] andyou'll work out of our Shanghai location on a hybrid work schedule[MH2] .In this role, you will impact our business by implementing effective safetymeasures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, thereby minimizingthe risk of incidents and maintaining a safe working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide dangerous goods transportation governance for theAsia-Pacific (APAC) region
• Collaborate with dangerous goods transportationcolleagues to develop policies and practices across the entire organization.
• Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to mitigate risks andensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide training andeducation to employees on the safe transportation of dangerous goods.
• Monitorand evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and make recommendations forimprovements.
• Assist in risk assessments to identify potential hazardsassociated with the transportation of dangerous goods
• Collaborate withcross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulations andindustry best practices.
• Conduct incident investigations and root causeanalysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years ofexperience in dangerous goods transportation
• In-depth knowledge of relevantregulations and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
