We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Forest Park, GA.

Responsibilities
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Compensation and Benefits Base
salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
Qualifications
Tech may have to travel for training and support other branches about 25% of the year at max.
Be able to trouble shoot and repair generators.
Will need to pass Cummins safety program and NFP70-E certification.
- A current valid license is required for this role
- Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

- Completing repair activities on generators or components
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of service
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
Responsibilities
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
- Basic Diesel Engine experience.
- Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
- Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.
