HSE Engineer II
The function will conduct a task to apply the legal questions, globally requirements and support the Local Site with local demands. This person leads the Site HSE Program for the Honeywell Monterrey Site. Provides leadership and technical support to drive continual improvement of all aspects of site HSE program and performance. Demonstrates a proactive health and safety management system. You will a key professional in the Health Safety Environment & Facilities (HSE&F) function. You will lead activities and HSE&F performance metrics. You will accomplish this by establishing strong working relationships with the site leadership team and the employees

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Integrate HSE processes and safe work practices into daily operations.
  • Implements HSE&F standards with all HSE regulatory and company requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead HSE initiatives and continuous HSE improvement as an integrated business partner to support achievement of site goals.
  • Drive excellence and engagement in HSE through management, leadership and employee involvement, worksite risk assessments, hazard prevention and control, and HSE training
  • Deploy and manage health and safety initiatives to continually improve performance of programs and processes.
  • Provide new hire and annual/reoccurring employee HSE training.
  • Submit Annual Federal, State, and local Reports
  • Root-cause analysis and corrective actions for incidents
  • Identify emerging issues and track compliance obligations.
  • Support management of change through HSE impact assessments of equipment and process changes.
  • Improve and maintain sites HSE document control and records management systems.
  • Collect and analyze HSE data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance performance.
  • Prepare and present reports to management, customers and regulatory agencies as required.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 2+ years of experience in HSE engineering.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
