Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Rotating Equipment Lead to join a major offshore oil and gas development project. This long-term assignment spans both Korea and Qatar, offering the opportunity to work across engineering and commissioning phases within an internationally recognised project framework. The role is suited to professionals with extensive offshore experience and a strong background in mechanical rotating systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning and integration of rotating equipment packages on a complex offshore project.

• Provide technical guidance, problem-solving, and leadership across engineering and commissioning teams.

• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure standards, specifications, and project schedules are maintained.

• Engage in global technical missions as required during project execution.

• Ensure compliance with international standards, project-specific methodologies, and engineering specifications.

• Oversee documentation and control systems, ensuring commissioning activities are executed effectively and accurately.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas sector.

• At least 10 years in a lead role focused on rotating equipment commissioning.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and resolve technical issues under pressure.

• Familiar with commissioning methodologies such as OPERCOM and ICAPS.

• Experience with documentation control and engineering specifications.

• Knowledge of rotating equipment from major manufacturers such as Solar, Siemens, and GE is advantageous.

• Exposure to major operator specifications and standards is beneficial.

• Willingness to travel internationally for technical support missions.

• Proficient in English and computer literate.

• Must hold valid H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training certifications.
