Your role and responsibilities

As Automation Project Engineer, you will lead locally engineering solutions in Metals and Pulp & Paper local market. Lead the engineering in projects accomplishing in time and budget: programming DCS (PLCs and HMIs), definition bill of materials, developing electrical control system plans, defining and developing communications to various plant assets and third-party systems, FAT tests, commissioning. Interacting and collaborating with project managers, sales, customers, and engineering peers across multiple locations. Service Technical Support: Take on-call service according customer contracts, at least one complete week every three weeks. During the week of on-call service, 24h availability to travel and attend customer 's corrective maintenance. Availability and Flexibility: Adapt work time to customer needs, that means to work when required extra hours during weekends or public holidays. Willingness to travel (~40% -60%): for commissioning and service activities, mainly domestic travels.

Qualifications for the role

• Experienced project engineer with 3-5 years of proven track record of delivering projects (HW&SF design) and attending customers in commissioning, maintenance, technical assistance activities. Experienced project engineer with 3-5 years of proven track record of delivering projects
• Knowledge of Metals and Pulp & Paper control process industries are welcome
• Engineering Qualification B.Eng or M.Eng. (Automation, Software, Electronics, Systems, Instrumentation) Experience in ABB Software - 800xA, AC800M Engineering, AC400 Advant Master Engineering.
• Industrial Protocols- IEC61850, Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus & Profinet, OPC. Experience in third-party DCS/PLC & SCADA systems are welcome
• Safe and ethical leadership attitude; good understanding of functional safety standards and project practices. Good command of English, additional language skills are welcome.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Driving License.
