Position Summary:

Highly organized and proactive Program Manager with 5-10 years of experience in the aerospace or defense industry. Instrumental in supporting the Flight Test Engineering team, working closely with senior engineers and other stakeholders to manage the planning, execution, and reporting of critical flight test activities. Play a key role in ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications, within a secure environment. An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is a minimum requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Program Lead and Flight Test Engineering team in the overall management of flight test programs.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of integrated program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Track program progress, identify potential risks and issues, and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams, including engineering, flight operations, and logistics, while adhering to security protocols.
  • Assist in the preparation of program status reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the appropriate classification of information.
  • Manage program documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper security classification.
  • Support the development and implementation of program management processes and procedures, with a focus on security compliance.
  • Assist in the coordination of program meetings, reviews, and action item tracking, within secure facilities as needed.
  • Work closely with procurement and contracts teams to support the acquisition of necessary resources, adhering to security regulations.
  • Contribute to the identification and pursuit of opportunities for program improvement and efficiency, while maintaining strict security protocols.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is a minimum requirement.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to support the management of complex projects and timelines within secure environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to security regulations.
  • Familiarity with program management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with project scheduling software and tools.
  • Knowledge of flight test operations or aerospace engineering principles is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security regulations and handling classified information is essential.
