Wood is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifting Equipment Integrity Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in crane operations, rigging methodologies, and safety protocols. This role involves managing lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical support for various projects.

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the US or Canada without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise on lifting equipment queries and anomaly rectification decisions.
  • Manage lifting contractor project engineers and review preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Develop and implement performance standards, maintenance strategies, and integrity critical work instructions.
  • Conduct fixed equipment and rigging & lifting audits.
  • Perform risk assessments and participate in incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of lifting equipment scopes.
  • Ensure all in-service lifting equipment is compliant and certified for use.
  • Prepare compliance certificates and define inspection deliverables and processes.
  • Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and processes for managing lifting equipment activities.

Expected:
  • Proven track record in managing lifting equipment and complex lifting operations.
  • Experience in crane operations, rigging methodologies, and safety protocols.
  • Previous roles in planning, logistics coordination, and work pack planning.
  • Experience in offshore and onshore projects, including commissioning, decommissioning, and maintenance.

Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired:
  • Crane Inspector, Lift Director, Rigging Hardware, etc.
  • NCCCO Crane Operator Certifications
  • NCCCO Rigger Certifications
