Your role and responsibilities
Kick-start your career with ABB: EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program Are you at the beginning of your career and have you just completed your Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering? Then this traineeship is a great opportunity to gain work experience in an international technical environment. In this role, you will be part of ABB's service organization. You will work closely with various teams and managers, actively contributing to the company's goals. At the same time, you will continuously learn by working hands-on and receiving guidance from your manager. You will also actively work on your personal development and career goals by participating in professional growth initiatives. You will join the Projects department of the Electrification Service Division, where you will collaborate on projects involving, among others, distribution systems, transformers, and protection relays. You will support project managers, work alongside technical teams, and gain insight into all aspects of project management. This department ensures clear, timely, and effective communication with our clients and factories. A unique opportunity: You will also spend 6 months in another ABB country, where you will learn how we operate globally and build an international network. What will you do? Participate in project teams working on distribution systems, transformers, and protection relays. Assist in managing projects, from customer contact to delivering technical solutions. Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring that agreements are met regarding planning, quality, and costs. Collaborate with ABB factories worldwide, maintaining close contact regarding project delivery and making adjustments when necessary. Monitor progress and financial performance, aiming for successful project outcomes and satisfied clients. About the Program In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop the skills you need to give your career within ABB's Service division a flying start. As a trainee, you will be part of a close-knit community and participate in various activities with other trainees. These include training sessions to enhance both your soft skills and technical abilities, working on projects with tight deadlines, and social and team-building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program, you will receive guidance from the Program Lead to make the most of your traineeship!

Qualifications for the role
- You have (or are about to obtain) a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You possess excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- You are eager to learn, always looking for ways to improve yourself, and not afraid to ask questions.
- You show initiative and enjoy taking action.
