With the rapid expansion of offshore wind energy, there is a growing demand for large-scale transport and installation solutions. Major projects are being developed to meet ambitious energy transition targets, including next-generation offshore grid systems supported by supersized 2-GW converter stations.
We are seeking Heavy Lift Engineers to join our client's team and contribute to pioneering offshore wind projects. You will play an integral role in delivering innovative solutions for the transportation and installation of topsides and jacket structures up to 60,000 tonnes.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Structural Engineers, Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Architects, and Draftsmen, working across the entire engineering process - from concept development to offshore execution.

Your Role
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Structural Engineers, Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Architects, and Draftsmen, working across the entire engineering process - from concept development to offshore execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and prepare project specifications for offshore transportation and installation operations.
- Prepare design calculations and reports for heavy lift activities within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Develop procedures and manuals for load-out, transfer, mooring, towing, and installation operations.
- Interface with project teams, vessel crews, clients, subcontractors, and certification bodies to define effective solutions.
- Contribute to innovative approaches for supporting offshore wind energy development.
- Stay informed on new equipment and methodologies for installation operations.
- Conduct FEED and feasibility studies for single-lift installation/removal of large structures.
- Support commercial bids with method and execution statements.
- Design lifting gear (spreader bars, rigging, lifting tools).
- Perform yard inspections and oversee factory acceptance tests.
Requirements
- BSc degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent).
- 4-6 years (Medior) or 7+ years (Senior) of relevant heavy lift or offshore engineering experience.
- Affinity with offshore renewables or marine environment preferred.
- Willingness to travel and work offshore.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Motivated team player with analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Interest in the renewable energy sector and energy transition.
