JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Review run times and set-up times in routers for accuracy
• Edit, update, change and create routers in Oracle
• Work with Machine Shop on developing the best possible router for machining and scheduling purposes
• Conduct time studies to discover deficiencies and inefficiencies in current processes
• Lead RCA efforts on NCR's and focus on methods to reduce scrap
• Work with Manufacturing to improve processes
• Work with Planning and Manufacturing to build an accurate production schedule
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in the shop
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering from a four-year college or university
• Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing/machine shop environment
• Working knowledge of standard manufacturing processes and practices
• Previous experience with Oracle ERP software is preferred
• Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite
• Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
