Responsibilities:
- Review run times and set-up times in routers for accuracy
- Edit, update, change and create routers in Oracle
- Work with Machine Shop on developing the best possible router for machining and scheduling purposes
- Conduct time studies to discover deficiencies and inefficiencies in current processes
- Lead RCA efforts on NCR's and focus on methods to reduce scrap
- Work with Manufacturing to improve processes
- Work with Planning and Manufacturing to build an accurate production schedule
- Lead continuous improvement efforts in the shop
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing/machine shop environment
- Working knowledge of standard manufacturing processes and practices
- Previous experience with Oracle ERP software is preferred
- Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
