The EBC Materials and Processing Engineer will be part of the EBC materials and processing team whose mission is to advance state of the art EBC's and enable CMC technologies. The role will be responsible for supporting and executing on technology programs that contribute to the overall EBC strategy. In this role, you will work both independently and with various teams to develop EBC technologies for aircraft engines and other aerospace applications.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate both independently and as part of a team to complete activities such as material development, material characterization, and material processing
- Contribute to EBC materials and processing technology maturation strategy for Aerospace products
- Partner with Design and Supply Chain to support EBC technology programs, work root cause investigations, and other process or material development to support current fielded products like LEAP and GE9X
- Contribute to the development of next generation EBC materials and processes to support future commercial and/or military components
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
