The Microsystems team at GE Research is looking for candidates who are interested in the research and development of Microsystems and their integration into industrial products. As an Analog and Mixed-Signal Electronics Researcher you will be working closely with a highly experienced multidisciplinary team to continue the development of world leading technology for our wide range of customers. The primary focus of this position will be developing state of the art mixed-signal integrated circuits, enabling performance breakthroughs that differentiate our advanced microsystems sensing solutions.

The base pay range for this position is 100,000 - 205,000 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on July 14, 2025

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
As an Analog and Mixed-Signal Electronics Researcher you will:
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of Scientists, Engineers, and Technicians pushing the state of the art in Microsystems.
- Communicate status updates with key stake holders within and outside GE Research.
- Design and test control loops in the mixed-signal domain.
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs and identify future opportunities.
- Build Microsystem solutions specific to our customer needs.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant Engineering discipline or MS degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with a minimum of 15 years of related experience in Microelectronics
- Demonstrated experience designing and testing Mixed-Signal electronics, ASICs or devices
- Demonstrated experience with Mixed-Signal simulation tools.
- Demonstrated experience with ASIC design tools.
- Demonstrated experience with precision analog circuits.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY.
Desired Characteristics:
- A strong working knowledge of low noise, high impedance measurement systems, including noise components and parasitic effects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop custom low noise measurements for high impedance sensors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop novel, analog and mixed-signal ASIC solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with wafer-level device fabrication and process development kits.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with statistical tools and statistical analysis.
- Good presentation, speaking, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change and willingness to be flexible in a global team environment
