Position Overview: The C&P Drilling Lead is responsible for leading, organising, and overseeing the Contracts and Procurement activities specific to Drilling, Wells, and Logistics. This role ensures strategic alignment with corporate procurement policies, promotes cost efficiency, and facilitates continuous improvement in C&P practices across upstream operations.

Position Overview: The C&P Drilling Lead is responsible for leading, organising, and overseeing the Contracts and Procurement activities specific to Drilling, Wells, and Logistics. This role ensures strategic alignment with corporate procurement policies, promotes cost efficiency, and facilitates continuous improvement in C&P practices across upstream operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Drilling, Wells, and Logistics-related C&P activities.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with procurement strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with partner entities and technical teams through Duet/Triplet meetings.
- Drive cost optimisation initiatives using market intelligence and procurement tools.
- Supervise complex contract establishment and procurement planning processes.
- Ensure effective use of procurement systems and maintain accurate supplier databases.
- Promote best practices, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure performance tracking and improvement.
- Support audits, dispute resolutions, and legal negotiations when required.
- Maintain and update contractual templates with appropriate local content.
- Education: Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 10–15 years of professional experience in supply chain and C&P functions, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Skills:
- Advanced expertise in Contracts & Procurement practices and tools.
- Strong understanding of Drilling, Engineering, Project Management, and Field Operations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
- International Experience: Preferred.
- Language: Proficiency in English; Portuguese is an asset.
- Work Environment: Office-based with occasional travel to operational sites.
