Position: Obsolescence management Engineer - Equipment selection.
Contract: On Contract Role.
The Obsolescence management Engineer shall be able to Reverse engineer & identify Products, vendors based on specifications and performance requirements for various types installed components/equipment's, analyse technical suitability, recommend most ‘fit for purpose’ replacement. Experience in Creating material buying specification with reference to International Stds, bid comparison & deviation tables/ BOQs. The Engineer shall also support in technical bid evaluation, Review QAP/ITP and test certificates for dispatch clearance and on receipt Inspect at site.

Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Instrumentation /Electrical engineering with 5-6 Years of Experience or Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 8-10 years of experience
- Two+ years of experience in obsolescence management, component engineering, or supply chain management.
- Preferred to have Experience with component selection, procurement, and inventory management.
- Basic working proficiency of MS Excel, Power Point / Power BI.
