Requirements
- Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring ethical and compliant activities in line with Weatherford's policies, management system, laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices
- Prioritize quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection, continually seeking improvement and exceeding customer expectations
- Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, and promptly report any issues
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in a presentable and safe condition
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools and precision measuring instruments
- Inspect used parts to determine dimensional requirements using measuring instruments
- Follow maintenance processes and procedures for unloading, disassembly, cleaning, testing, painting, assembly, loading, and storage of tools, completing necessary documentation
- Initiate, update, and close out work orders, forms, checklists, and time tracking during maintenance activities
- Utilize tools, lifting equipment, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Accept incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments, validating quantities and documentation
- In senior roles, lead teams, troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and provide access to relevant policies, procedures, and technical manuals
- Order parts, supplies, or equipment from approved suppliers following Weatherford's guidelines
- Support and comply with LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement programs
- Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Demonstrate financial responsibility and follow relevant financial policies and procedures
- Develop personal careers through training and engage in performance management processes
- Demonstrate leadership, ethical behavior, and adherence to Weatherford standards
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Basic mathematics
- Knowledge of hazardous materials, radioactive elements, explosives, NDT, NDE, and ATEX policies and principles
- Ability to diagnose issues and problems with tools/equipment
- Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring of equipment
- Critical thinking, active learning, listening, and complex problem-solving skills
- Good reading, writing, judgment, and decision-making skills in line with policies and procedures
- Time management
- Quality control analysis to ensure product meets required standards
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
- Information and task ordering, ability to identify potential problems and understand solutions
- Ability to effectively and efficiently operate tools and machinery
- Ability to visualize how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair, or modifications
- This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 10%.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
