About the Job:
Enforce proper compliance to management strategy for all lifting operations in all operational areas. This includes management of technical aspects associated with handling, inspection, testing, certification and maintenance of all lifting equipment (fixed and loose) operating at sites.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Accountability
• Ensure implementation of in-house lifting standards / code of practices & procedures at all sites as part of the lifting management strategy, document and other approved Standards.
• Ensure all lifting operations are carried out in accordance with approved standards and HSE procedures.
• Act as the focal point of technical reference for lifting equipment in terms of the competencies of the users.
• Ensure inspection is conducted and recorded properly before use of lifting equipment and on periodic basis. Review and approve third party action plans prior to inspection and certification.
• Participate in writing and updating company technical documents related to lifting equipment.
• Participate in audit compliances of company and contractor performance to approved standards.
• Participate in conducting investigation of cranes and lifting equipment failures or accidents.
• Act as the focal point to review and approve lifting plans for all reporting relating to lifting activities.
• Ensure changes to equipment or procedures are communicated and approved as per the Plant Modification Procedures.
• Ensure compliance with LIMS and CP-113. Ensure all lifting equipment are endorsed by the company approved TPIA. Ensure all reviewed / commented Lift Plans are clearly understood from the site. Follow up to close any required action following site planned audits.
• Participate in periodical verification / audit of enlisted TPIs including their lifting operations and equipment to ensure competence and compliance to QA / QC with lessons learnt incorporated.
• Maintain adequate communication and technical interface-links with relevant disciplines and project. Coordinate and enforce control on site lifting activities by relevant disciplines and contractors.
• Participate in Identifying and managing risk assessment associated with lifting equipment and ensure satisfactory safety standards and safe working practices are ad hered to.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- 6 years of the same or similar experiences preferably in the oil, gas and shipping industry
