NES Qatar is currently looking for a Senior Planning Engineer for our Qatar based oil and gas client. This is a Direct hire role which also offers family benefits.

The primary responsibility of this role is to be responsible for comprehensive project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, verification, and reporting to ensure the successful execution of assigned projects from initiation through to close-out.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in project planning within the Oil & Gas sector, including offshore projects (jackets, topsides, decommissioning, demolition, etc.)
• At least 5 years of experience with National or International Oil Companies is preferred
• Strong skills in project scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, risk assessment, and claims analysis
• Proficiency in Primavera (P6), MS Office; experience with Primavera Risk Analysis and Power BI is a plus
• GCC experience is desirable

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
• Preferably Certified PMP or equivalent certifications/memberships.
