We are currently seeking a Principal Engineer - Genesis, to join our Genesis team based in Noida, India.

About the Job

Purpose:

Delivery and working on technically complex process engineering design within proposals, studies, projects execution & operations, as part of a study &/or project team, in accordance with design & engineering standards & procedures, schedule and budget, with a continuous focus on quality standards, targets and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Leading study activities for our new energies early phase studies related to Biofuels/SAF/Gasification. During the studies (mainly at the feasibility, conceptual and Pre-FEED) you will supervise and contribute to the production of key process deliverables including Heat and Material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, Material selection diagram, Process data sheets for Equipment and Instrumentation, technology reviews, layouts, balance of plant, operations philosophies, Safety Relief Load calculations, Control philosophy, Cause & Effect diagrams, Utility summary, Catalyst/Chemical and Effluent summaries, input into technical safety reviews, etc.
• Oversee and manage a team of junior process engineers on each study. Experience in team management and/or project management will be appreciated. Candidate should be rigorous, autonomous, curious and a great team player.
• Coordinate external interfaces with the customer, Licensors/suppliers, subcontractors for all technical issues and internal interfaces with the project management team, construction engineering and commissioning disciplines.
• Produce technology evaluation, Integration with blue or green hydrogen production, operation of plants.
• Contribute to the development of methods, tools & guides under the Process Community of Practice
• Have an understanding of confidentiality, Non-Disclosure Agreements and management of intellectual property (IP) between licensors.
• Experience in Biofuels/SAF/Gasification production, engineering and design is highly desirable with knowledge of operation of such plants.
• Keep up to date with new developments of standards, process softwares, procedures and implement it to the day to day work. Familiar with international industrial design standards.
• Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Familiar with / have experience of safety reviews (HAZID/ HAZOP).

About You

Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

• B. Tech / M. Tech in Chemical engineering from reputed university and 10 15 years experience in Process Design and Engineering with specific experience in Advisory and Consulting Services like Feasibility/Conceptual Studies/ Basic Engineering for Biofuels/ SAF/ Gasification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Biofuels/SAF/Gasification production, engineering and design is highly desirable.
• Background of Process Engineering with thorough hands-on experience on Process simulation, developing and evaluating project economics is essential. Good communication skills and proficiency in Report writing is a must.

Software skills:

Desired Skills in Process software like ASPEN HYSYS and / or PRO II, HTRI, PIPENET, FLARENET, etc.
