Electrical & Instrumentation Lead – LNG Bunkering Project (Oman)

Our client is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Lead to play a key role in the development and operation of LNG plant and bunkering facility in Oman
Location: Oman – Muscat (with regular visits to site in Sohar)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all Electrical, Instrumentation, ICSS, and Metering activities during both project development and operations phases.
• Drive the development and implementation of maintenance strategies aligned with international best practices.
• Manage and supervise operational teams, ensuring technical readiness for safe and efficient production start-up.
• Oversee commissioning, start-up, and long-term maintenance activities for a state-of-the-art LNG facility.
• Ensure availability of resources, procedures, tools, and trained personnel for maintenance and inspection readiness.
• Actively engage in the preparation and execution of complex site maintenance procedures and plans.
• Lead vendor management, contract oversight, and support technical training and competency development of your team.

What We’re Looking For:

• 15 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation, with strong exposure to LNG or oil & gas operations and maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or operational leadership role.
• Proven expertise in PLC, ICSS, metering systems, and safety instrumented systems.
• Prior experience supporting large-scale industrial project execution and start-up is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of Condition-Based Maintenance, SECE performance standards, and fiscal metering systems.
• Strong leadership and coordination capabilities across multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Solid grounding in HSE best practices and regulatory compliance.
