If so, we invite you to apply for our challenging Product Engineering opportunity in our Engineered Products Business Unit. This position is responsible for providing custom engineered solutions to customers' unique applications. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of activities, from concept development, designing, testing, and implementing custom valve solutions into production around the world!

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Complete customer orders involving product design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction
  • Provide technical support for assigned products to manufacturing, sales, service, and customers
  • Maintain and update assigned products through Engineering Change Requests and design projects.
  • Perform and document design calculations and analysis
  • Build 3D CAD models and assemblies
  • Create additional design documentation such as part numbers, test specifications, instruction manuals, design practices and procedures, etc.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to drive continuous improvement

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering(specifically one of the following subject areas: Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, Chemical, or Aerospace) or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Mechanical proficiency and visualization skills

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • One or more years' engineering experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, product evaluation/testing, or other proven experience.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, tolerances and GD&T
  • Solid understanding of computer tools in particular those related to the design and technical drawing (three-dimensional CAD, Solidworks, FEM finite element calculation) and of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, VBA experience is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Basic knowledge of material properties
  • Programming experience.
