FPSO Cost Controller - Paris

On behalf of a major oil & gas operator, WRS are currently seeking an experienced FPSO Cost Controller to join a major offshore oil & gas project led by a multidisciplinary team based in Paris. You will play a key role in managing budget and cost control for the FPSO package within a fast-track development project located offshore Angola.

The role is based residentially in Paris, working on a 12 month renewable contract, paying a day rate in Euros.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all FPSO package cost control activities under the supervision of the FPSO Cost Control Lead.
• Prepare and deliver cost reports, forecasts, and exposure estimates.
• Analyze and process invoices and payment schedules in alignment with complex contractual terms.
• Interface with technical and contract teams to identify and anticipate cost variations.
• Monitor and manage UNISUP system records including commitments, expenditures, and closeouts.
• Contribute to periodic and multi-year budget updates, EFC forecasts, and cost trend analysis.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with internal cost control standards and SOX procedures.
• Capture and share lessons learned related to cost control activities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Solid experience in cost control on large-scale E&P or industrial projects.
• Experience working on FPSO projects
• Right to work in France
• Strong command of SAP (UNISUP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with cost-plus, remeasurable, and provisional contract environments.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability.
• Previous experience in a similar residential role is a plus.
