JOB DESCRIPTION

NOV is seeking a Drilling Solutions Engineer to join our team in Gabon. In this role, you will provide engineering technical support to NOV ReedHycalog Sales, Operations, Product Engineering, as well as to our customers. Maintain and continuously develop ReedHycalog product related skills and knowledge from engineering, processes, business applications and business models perspective.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain, recognize, demonstrate and apply relevant Specialty Core Competencies outlined in relevant company guidelines.
• Adhere, promote and maintain company's Safety and Quality standards.
• Proactively assist Sales, Operations, Product Engineering departments with day-to-day activities.
• Provide high quality technical support with pre- and post- sales activities in timely manner.
• Support field and workshop operations when required.
• Participate in department's knowledge development and sharing activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Essential)
• 1-3 Field Experience (Desirable)
• Technical Presentations (Desirable)
• Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook, Teams) (Essential)
• Power BI and other data visualization and analysis software (Desirable)
• Offshore Survival (Desirable)
