Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. This is an opportunity for you to become a valuable, well-rounded of an experienced team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What makes you remarkable?

• Revisit existing structural & foundation design calculations. Verify and revise/update earthquake load by applying the seismic load & design as per มยผ1301-1302-61 or UBC and IBC codes
• Using SAP2000 software (may include STAADPRO) for structural/foundation seismic design utilizing the Modified Response Spectrum Analysis (MRSA) method as per มยผ1301-1302-61 or UBC and IBC codes
• Develop detailed structural & foundation designs and calculations
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations , especially seismic design in accordance with DPT1301-1302-61 (มยผ1301-1302-61)
• Coordinate with client and other stakeholders
• Conduct site surveys
• Conduct regular inspections and audits
• Prepare drawings and specifications for construction
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural & foundation engineering design
• Familiar with and capable of performing seismic design in accordance with DPT1301-1302-61 (มยผ1301-1302-61) - is a MUST.
• Proficient in using SAP2000 software for structural seismic design, specifically utilizing the Modified Response Spectrum Analysis (MRSA) method - is a MUST
• Familiar with the detailed design and design safety of structure & foundation and connections - for petrochemical industrial facilities (both for new and revamp projects)
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards,especially seismic design in accordance with UBC, IBC and DPT1301-1302-61 (มยผ1301-1302-61)
• Demonstrate ability to manage projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
