- Design Review: Review the product designs and provide review comments to designers, with respect to applicable UL, CSA, FM, ATEX, IEC, NEC and similar standards for products categories such as industrial and hazardous location Valves, industrial control equipment's etc.
Review the schematic and PCB design to ensure layout and design meets IS requirements. Review detailed component selection, circuit analysis, and failure mode analysis (FMEA).
Identify the non-compliance gaps and co-work with design team to fix the issues.
Assess the drawings, manuals, descriptive reports to ensure compliance with the standards - Test Plan: Product Standards Interpretation & Test Plan Preparation, Study and interpret (IECEx, ATEX, UL, IEC, CSA) standards for different products, generate product test plan as per requirements by standards, Validate the test plan by coordinating with internal certification team, Business unit and external certification agencies. Prepare authorized test report and review with project teams. Provide product improvements and test conclusion recommendations to the project teams.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external customers (third part test labs, certification bodies etc)
- Craft compelling technical justifications that showcase and validate products safety features
- Qualify a product for CE marking including EMI/EMC.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BE in Electronics Engineering or related level of experience plus certifications or demonstrated experience in analog and digital circuit design.
- Working knowledge of low-level analog, filter, signal processing, and microcontroller circuit design.
- Ability to work in a laboratory environment including defining, setting up, troubleshooting, and completing required tests.
- Total 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- BE/B Tech. Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering from reputed institutions with 6+ years' experience in product testing and validation per international standards like UL, CSA, IEC, EN.
- Ability to perform complex circuit analysis and experience as per Intrinsic Safety std or similar applications std.
- Strong knowledge of intrinsic safety principles and working experience of Ordinary location and Hazardous location standards like IEC/UL/CSA 60079 series, ATEX Directive, UL913, equivalent CSA std).
- Experience with Intrinsic Safety and Flameproof/Explosion-Proof Approvals.
- Technical expertise in both electrical and mechanical certification requirements.
- Experience working with certification agencies like UL, CSA, Intertek, TUV etc .
