Are you a skilled operations professional with a passion for optimizing offshore production and ensuring safe, efficient energy delivery?

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Operations Engineer to support offshore production activities and drive operational excellence within TotalEnergies EP Malaysia.

Activities

Your Impact

As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will:

• Coordinate and support offshore production operations, including start-up, maintenance, and inspection activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely data management in accordance with the Company's systems (SAP, CMMS).
• Monitor and manage offshore logistics and support contracts (vessels, manpower, catering, maintenance).
• Interface with internal teams (Projects, Subsurface, Drilling, Procurement) and external stakeholders (PETRONAS, MPM, JV Partners).
• Prepare and deliver operational reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external use.
• Contribute to emergency response efforts and ensure compliance with HSSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support planning and execution of shutdowns and downtime activities.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

We seek a dynamic operations engineer with the technical expertise and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced offshore environment. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's Degree or Professional Certificate in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years (with Degree) or 10 years (with Certificate) of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in operations coordination, logistics, and shutdown planning.
• Solid understanding of HSSE regulations and offshore production systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and operational software (e.g., SAP, CMMS).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• This position is open to Malaysian citizens or permanent residents only.
